1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the Seshu mobile application (the “App”) or visiting our website at seshuapp.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Seshu is an AI-powered content creation tool that assists users in generating video scripts, ideas, and accompanying images. The App uses artificial intelligence technology to process user inputs and generate creative assets.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, you may need to register an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information.
- Maintain the security of your account credentials.
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Seshu.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
A. Subscription Plans
Seshu offers free and paid subscription tiers (Starter, Pro, Elite). By selecting a paid plan, you agree to pay the subscription fees indicated at the time of purchase.
B. Free Trials
We may offer a free trial (e.g., 3 days) for specific plans. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, you will be automatically charged the subscription fee for the selected plan.
C. Billing and Renewal
- All payments are processed securely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Seshu does not process or store your payment information.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your device settings.
D. Refunds
Refund requests are handled directly by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store in accordance with their respective refund policies. We cannot directly issue refunds.
5. AI-Generated Content & Liability
A. Nature of AI
You acknowledge that the content (scripts, text, images) is generated by Artificial Intelligence. AI can sometimes produce incorrect, biased, or offensive information. Seshu does not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or originality of any generated content.
B. User Responsibility
- You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying the content before using, publishing, or sharing it.
- You assume all risks associated with the use of the generated content, including compliance with intellectual property laws, copyright, and advertising standards in your country.
C. No Professional Advice
The App is a creative tool. It does not provide legal, medical, financial, or professional advice. Do not rely on the App for critical decisions.
6. Intellectual Property
A. Your Content
You retain ownership of the text prompts you input and the content generated specifically for you by the App, to the extent permitted by law. You grant Seshu a license to process this data solely to provide the service.
B. Our Intellectual Property
The Seshu App, its source code, branding, logos, and interface are the exclusive property of Seshu and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer the App.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use Seshu to:
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or promotes hate speech.
- Create “deepfakes” or content intended to deceive or mislead others.
- Infringe upon the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
- Attempt to disrupt or compromise the integrity of the App’s servers.
We reserve the right to ban any user who violates these rules without notice or refund.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seshu and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill) arising from your use of the App or the content generated by it.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Egypt, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of changes by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
